Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with billing and financial transactions, including collecting payments and providing receipts - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations - Provide exceptional customer service and patient care throughout their visit
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred - Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is required - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff members Note:
