Communications & Engagement Specialist Reports to:
CEO Job purpose Responsible for proactively sharing positive stories and accomplishments through communication pieces and web features with a focus on creating connections between daily work and strategic plan.
Duties and Responsibilities Develop communication and marketing material across multiple platforms to include, but not limited to, interactive, mass, target, and broadcast media, special events, and trade shows.
Responsible for enterprising storylines for video and press content, website editing, feature story writing and reporting internally and externally on decisions and progress.
Responsible for production of informational pieces that support communications and marketing efforts.
These may include, but are not limited to, newsletters, websites, email, print, social media, video, and photography.
Develop communications and marketing plans to support both short and long range.

Develop the monitoring, maintenance, and measurement of progress toward communications and marketing objectives.
Support organizational initiatives and events as needed.
Perform set-up and tear-down at special events and trade shows.
Qualifications BA/BS degree in marketing or media.
Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of communications and marketing.
Video and photography shooting and editing skills.
Graphic design skills.
Must be proficient in all social media platforms, including but not limited to, linkedin, facebook, twitter, and Instagram.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor to communicate and work effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
1 - 3 years experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or advertising.
Working conditions Monday through Friday work week in a casual team environment Occasional Travel Direct reports This position has no direct reports Job Type:
