Program Director - Childcare / After School / Summer Camp needed for the YMCA
Director requirements:
Bachelor degree preferred two-year degree required
Minimum 1 to 2 years childcare supervisory experience
Must possess current and valid Childcare Director's credentials
VPK endorsement and all DCF & ELC required training
Director duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage day-to-day activities
Create instructional resources for use in various programs
Develop programs
Supervise students and staff
Train, encourage, and mentor staff
Administer record keeping.
Maintain rapport with parents
Prepare budgets and annual reports
Establish performance goals and objectives
Explain or answer procedural questions
Examine learning materials
Meet with other administrators, parents, and community organizations

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
