Experience:
(A) Graduation from an high school or GED equivalent and; (B) one (1) year experience in cashiering and clerical work or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
(A) Working knowledge of procedures involved in cashiering; knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation; Ability to receive cash and make change with accuracy and speed; Ability to acquire knowledge of city and department policies.
(B) Skilled in to operating tools and equipment.
(C) Ability to perform arithmetic computations accurately and quickly; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to establish successful working relationships; ability to work under pressure and/or frequent interruptions.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED Computer terminal, cash receipting machine, printer, 10-key calculator, phone, switchboard, fax and copy machine.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
