Friendsgiving Fall Festival in Lake Wales, FL

 

Plans are underway for our Inaugural "Friendsgiving" Fall Festival, upcoming on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Lake Wales Woman's Club, 275 E. Park Avenue in downtown Lake Wales.
This free event will feature games - Corn Hole, Velcro Toss Across, Can Toss, Candy Corn Bowling, Ring Toss, Matching Ducks, and Inflatable Ball, as well as bounce houses, petting zoo, Cross Paws pet adoptions, food trucks, popcorn, beer and wine, KT Sunshine Foundation Band, singer Cory Greenway, Sandy's MusicGirl, product vendors, vendor raffle baskets, Christmas inspired photo booth, and more!
The event will be heavily promoted by the GFWC Lake Wales Junior Woman's Club, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be consistently covered by local media outlets, offering valuable exposure for business supporters.
We wish to thank Weikert Ford for their pledge as a Scarecrow Level Sponsor, as well as our donors who have committed their sponsorships to the Hay Level at $400.00 total, the Pumpkin Level at a $500.00 total, and the Gobbler Level at a total of $1000.00
The "Friendsgiving" Fall Festival serves as one of the most important fundraising events for the GFWC Lake Wales Junior Woman's Club. The GFWC Lake Wales Junior Woman's Club, is dedicated to supporting our local students in the following ways:
Bok Academy South – Homeless student population, as well as other schoolwide needs.
Throughout the District and Charter Schools – Our ongoing mission is to help end the cycle of youth homelessness throughout the schools in Lake Wales by providing tangible assistance (clothes, shoes, hygiene products, and necessary needs) to our community’s unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth, including those in emergency shelters.
